Story A hard-charging African American female fencing athlete, Mae Wilson ,faces personal demons and childhood rivalry as she vies for a spot on the U.S. Olympic Fencing Team. Mae suffers a setback as she was involved in a horrific sporting accident with her childhood rival Jocelyn, leading to her loss in a competition, pushing her into a downward spiral.
