Story A secret Chinese military project in the 1960s sends signals into space to establish contact with aliens. An alien civilization called Trisolarans on the brink of destruction captures the signal and will invade Earth in 450 years. Meanwhile over a few decades on Earth, different camps start forming, planning to either welcome the superior beings and help them take over a world seen as corrupt, or to fight against the invasion.

VR game called THREE BODY as a secret recruitment tool.
The VR game explains the culture and history of Trisolarans by drawing on elements from human society and history to simulate the development of its civilization.
